摘要
Quality of life consists of the individual's perception of his position in life, in the context of the culture and the value system in which he lives, including his goals, expectations, standards and interests. Aim: To assess the quality of life of workers using the SF-36 Instrument, before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, to identify which dimensions of these relationships were influenced. Method: The chosen subjects were the workers of a company from Vale do Paraiba Paulista. The questionnaire was applied during the work period by a single evaluator. First, the selection of possible moment and days for the application of SF36 was carried out, which took place at the companys outpatient clinic, with only volunteer employees. Rapport (motivation, clarification about the research, no obligation to participate and confidentiality) was established, with subsequent statistical treatment of the data. Results: The Company has 136 employees, 26 women and 110 men. Of these, 92% responded to the SF-36 questionnaire on two occasions, the first at the beginning of the year 2020 and the other during the pandemic period COVID-19 (from April 2020). Conclusion: The condition of the pandemic presented great interference in the processes of interpretation of the quality of life of the employees evaluated. Future research is proposed after the pandemic to assess the breadth of the results observed here.
