Functional mechanism and critical design points about functional auxiliary nozzles are introduced. In order to prolong the lifetime of auxiliary nozzle and save the energy consumption of loom, we change the angle of the plane of nozzle and adopt the spray structure of different diameter eight hole. Through a number of air flow performance tests of the SX-1 air-jet insertion tester, as well as one and a half years of application of some loom models and types of fabrics, the results show that the functional auxiliary nozzles can reduce the abrasion between auxiliary nozzle and yams and save energy consumption of loom by sharply reducing supply gas pressure.
