摘要
The decay of CS2 molecules ionized at the sulphur 1s shell has been observed via detection of an energy-resolved K-LL or L-VV Auger electron in coincidence with three fragment ions identified by a time-of-flight measurement. The molecules were ionized by the 'white' photon beam (1 keV < h nu < 15 keV) from a bending magnet of the electron stretcher accelerator ELSA at Bonn. Complete detection of ionic fragments from single events allows us to determine branching ratios of numerous fragmentation channels and to correlate these and their total charges with main branches of the electronic de-excitation cascade.
