摘要
Meeting the energy demand of the users in isolated areas using various renewable energy sources is a major challenge. Standalone microgrid is an effective solution for the electricity needs in remote areas. Electricity generation using energy sources like solar which depends highly on the weather conditions, can be unpredictable. Availability of such renewable energy sources may not match with the load demand. Thus providing electricity on a regular mode in all times to meet the demand is a big challenge. Implementation of a controller in the system helps in solving this problem. In this work, selection of different sources in a hybrid solar and diesel system according to the weather conditions using a fuzzy logic controller is implemented. This proposed method also provides constant dc bus voltage in the system.
