The Josephson effect between the spin-triplet superconductor Sr2RuO4 and conventional superconductors has been investigated for Sr2RuO4/Nb and Sr2RuO4/Sn junctions, which are fabricated on the cleaved (0 0 1) plane of single-crystalline Sr2RuO4, Contrary to the proposed candidates of the spin-triplet order parameter in Sr2RuO4, which are described in terms of the d-vector aligned to the c-axis, the Josephson effect has been observed for both junctions. This may be explained by the assumption that the presence of the steps and/or the Ru lamellas causes the contribution of the current the direction of which is other than the e-axis direction.
