摘要：
Suction-controlled oedometric and triaxial tests have been performed on a loam of medium plasticity compacted in the Standard Proctor conditions, at a water content 3% lower than that of the Optimum. Original aspects of the behavior are highlighted and modelled using an elastoplastic constitutive law based on an extended definition of effective stresses and suction-hardening. An example of calculation of the settlements of a road embankment is presented.
