摘要
This paper presents a current harmonic injection method to reduce harmonics from induction motor drive. Now a days many industries using variable frequency drives for induction motor. These VFD generates different harmonics which causes heating of motor, introduction of EMI, malfunctioning of measuring equipment. Harmonic distortion largely occur where loads withdrawn non sinusoidal current from system. It is mainly present where AC is converted into DC. The voltage supplied by a power system is generally not a pure sine wave. It usually possesses some amount of distortion, which has a fundamental frequency and harmonics at that frequency.
