摘要
The investigation regarding archaeology and the cultural heritage can be highly beneficial through non-destructive and reliable analysis. Ground penetrating Radar (GPR) is a geophysical technique, which fulfill the criteria. For the better resolution and enhanced signal to noise ratio (SNR) the mixing of transmitting and receiving (T-R) antennas center frequency coupling response is analyzed in this research work. The data is acquired from Liangzhu area (i.e. an archaeological site of PRC). During the data acquisition the comparison with same center frequencies of 50MHz-50MHz, 100MHz-100MHz and 200MHz-200MHz T-R antennas and with different center frequencies of 50MHz-100MHz, 50MHz-200MHz, 100MHz-50MHz, 100MHz-200MHz, 200MHz-50MHz and 200MHz-100MHz T-R antennas were made. The results shows that the impact of transmitting frequency is greater than the one of receiving frequency, because it determines the depth of exploration and bandwidth and higher the center frequency of transmitting antenna, the wider of bandwidth of spectrum. On the other hand, the impact of receiving antenna frequency is only on the resolution.
