Information Security of E-government Projects-Illustration of PRChina

In recent years, E-government projects in China have played an important role in enhancing government transparency, promoting transparent governance and improving public service. However, E-government projects are facing a wide range of information security threats. In this paper, a brief overview of Chinese E-government was given and the current state of E-government information security was portrayed. Several information security measurements were highlighted. Finally, the risk assessment status in E-government is introduced and it's concluded that risk management is an effective way to guarantee the security of E-government system.
