摘要
Objectives: To determine the effectiveness of cervical traction and spinal mobilization with arm movement in the management of non-specific neck pain. Methodology: In this Randomized Control study, data were collected from Gulab Devi Hospital and Ganj Baksh Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan which included 42 patients. They were divided in two groups; Group one was treated with cervical traction and group two with spinal mobilization with arm movement. Patients were assessed through inclinometer, NDI (Neck Disability Index) and Visual Analog scale after completion. Results: Both groups showed significant difference before and after treatment. Both treatments had effect to decrease pain and NDI and increase ranges, but cervical traction was clinically more effective than spinal mobilization with arm movement. Conclusion: Clinically, cervical traction was more effective to manage mechanical neck pain than spinal mobilization with arm movement.
