摘要
Facile colloidal technique was used to synthesize PbS nanocrystals. Surface functionalization and size control of the prepared lead sulfide nanocrystals was achieved by PVA. In order to evaluate the novelty of optical properties of the prepared sample, absorption, photoluminescence and time resolved photoluminescence studies was carried out. The size and morphology of PbS nanocrystals were also studied by HRTEM. Our investigation showed that the synthesized sample has strong green emission that has not been reported before. Time evolution of green emission has been analyzed after one and five months. The obtained results confirmed that the synthesized sample has high potential for biological applications.
