摘要
A new Adaptable Power Electronic Transformer (APET) is presented in this paper as a replacement of conventional transformer. Power rating of any conventional transformer is fix and thus its applications. The proposed APET is made of different high frequency (HF) units which are independent in operation. These HF units are connected with ports via common DC link which transfers energy among HF units and ports. Many series-parallel combinations of these units are possible which enables in changing power rating of APET. In the end simulation results with prototype model are presented to validate the proposed model.
