摘要
We consider a system of two parallel quantum waveguides that coupled via a coupling window. The coupled waveguide system is exposed to an external magnetic field and coupled to a photon field. We take into account both the electron-electron and electron-photon interactions in the system and an exact diagonalization technique is used to treat these interactions. We investigate electron switching between the waveguides using external static magnetic field, side-dot gate, and quantized photon field. The role of the Coulomb interaction in electron switching is also presented. Furthermore, we show how a single photon can enhance electron transport between the waveguides where the photon is polarized in the same direction of electron motion.
