摘要
The results of fracture toughness, fatigue crack growth and creep crack growth tests on specimens machined from modified 9Cr (P91) base material and welds, as well as E911 (a 9%Cr alloy with added tungsten) are reported. No significant differences in behaviour were found between the P91 parent and the fusion line specimens. E911's fracture properties appear at least as good as those of P91 under the experimental conditions considered, underlining the promise of this alloy. Established creep-fatigue clack growth analysis procedures have been applied to model frequency effects in FCG testing.
