Effect of soften annealing on the machinability and bonding stability of ZTA ceramic particles reinforced HCCI composite

摘要
In this study, the soften annealing process of the ZTA ceramic particles reinforced HCCI composite has been investigated. With the annealing temperature from 860 degrees C to 780 degrees C, the hardness of the HCCI matrix decreased from 603.44 HV to 444.78 HV, and the hardness of ZTA ceramic particles decreased from 1536.29 HV to 1324.30 HV. The EDS elements map results indicate that the content of the diffusion layer is mainly Fe-O mixture. The high constant of Fe and O element diffuse to format the diffusion layer under the high temperature holding process.
