摘要：

The European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) held its 10th Annual Congress from 13th to 17th September in Vienna this year. The Congress was hosted by Prof. Kasper, chairman of the Department of General Psychiatry of the University of Vienna. The ECNP was founded in 1984 and since then has held biennial and, since 1991, annual congresses in major European cities. The objective of the ECNP is to stimulate high quality experimental and clinical research in neuropsychopharmacology, with special emphasis on the coordination and promotion of scientific activities and standards within Europe. The ECNP provides guidance and information to the public on matters relevant to neuropsychopharmacology and provides a format for the development of common standards in Europe.
