Systematic review conclusion. There is insufficient evidence to suggest predictable reduction of cervical dentin hypersensitivity (CDH) with surgical root coverage (SRC) procedures. Critical summary assessment. A systematic review of 9 randomized controlled trials, most with high risk of bias and clinical heterogeneity, did not find conclusive evidence to indicate SRC procedures as a definitive treatment for CDH. Evidence quality rating. Limited.
