摘要
The COVID-19 crisis has led to many social, economic and environmental consequences on a global and regional scale. The tourism industry has reached a standstill by taking its share of this crisis. Travel agencies, which have a vital role in the tourism sector, are an important tourism component in providing tourist logistics. The study aims to reveal the economic, social and cultural effects of the COVID-19 crisis on travel agencies in Antalya. For this purpose, an in-depth interview data collection technique was used within the framework of qualitative research methods. The data obtained from the interviews were themed by applying the content analysis technique. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that the COVID-19 crisis had a negative effect on travel agencies in Antalya, and the agencies turned to isolated tourism activities. This research is important because it is the first study to create a concept map using the content analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, of the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on travel agencies.
