摘要
This article demonstrates that the issue of human decision-making was of great interest to ancient philosophy from the perspective of practical wisdom and the conception of philosophy as a way of life, as a foundation for prudent decisions by human beings in the pursuit of a better life. These reflections are considered relevant for analyzing contemporary human dilemmas. The article first presents the conception of philosophy as a way of life, then distinguishes it from philosophical discourse. It discusses the idea of wisdom as knowledge that involves a dialectic between theory and practice, the relationship between deliberation, choice, and practical wisdom, and the role of philosophical discourse in human deliberation in uncertainty.
