Latinx is the nonbinary form for Latino or Latina that describes any person with ancestry from anywhere in Latin America.2 The term Hispanic was created by the US government in the 1970s and typically referred to people in the Americas and Spain who speak Spanish or descended from Spanish-speaking populations.2 This large and diverse community was initially marked as White on national census counts before this designation.2 Recognizing the incredible diversity within this community,
