摘要
Propylene is one of the most important raw materials for producing various chemicals and fuels. Propane dehydrogenation (PDH) is a promising technology to produce propylene. Metal-zeolite catalysts, including an encapsulated structure and framework-associated sites, have been paid increasing attention owing to their high thermal stability and unique electronic properties. In this review, we summarized the recent progress on Pt- and non-noble-metal-oxide-based zeolite catalysts applied in PDH. The influence of zeolite morphology was also analyzed and discussed. We highlighted atomically dispersed Pt clusters/single atom anchored by a second metal in zeolites, which exhibited superior catalytic performance in PDH compared to Pt nanoparticles. Finally, we point out the current challenges and future perspectives in metal-zeolite catalysts for further development.
