摘要：

Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension is a rare disease due to the obstruction of the pulmonary arteries by organized thromboembolic material. The natural history of this disease is the death by right heart failure. Pulmonary endarterectomy is the treatment of choice and it may be curative. This demanding procedure should be performed within the framework of an expert center including dedicated physicians, imaging and interventional radiologists, anesthetists, intensivists and surgeons performing at least 50 cases per year with less than 5% of operative mortality. & COPY; 2022 l'Academie nationale de medecine.
