Eine tuberkulose Meningitis bei mit dem humanen Immunschwachevirus (HIV) Infizierten weist eine Mortalitat von 50% und mehr auf. Obwohl eine klare Evidenz dafur fehlt, werden therapieunterstutzend Glukokortikoide eingesetzt und von vielen Leitlinien empfohlen.
