摘要
Non-conventional techniques for synthesis of several compounds have been of great interest in the organic chemistry field; for example, the use of energy sources such as microwave irradiation. Analyzing these data, the aim of this study was as to characterize the preparation of some steroid derivatives with microwave irradiation method using some scientific information systems. The results showed that microwave irradiation methods can have some advantages over conventional methods; i) Some reactions do not require the use of catalysts; ii) Reaction times are shorter; iii) Some reactions are more selective; iv) In some reactions the yield is optimal. In this way, the use of microwave irradiation is a valuable tool for the field of organic chemistry. Besides, microwave-assisted reactions have a positive relationship with the environment by reducing some toxic products.
