摘要
Anxiety in adolescents of both sexes in the period of return to schooling, that is, in the immediate Post-COVID-19 context, has been weighted using the STAIC instrument, taking into consideration the scientific evidence that exists regarding the increase in problems. of mental health in children and adolescents, therefore, the 40-item STAIC questionnaire was applied to 430 students of both sexes and from two schools in the Tarapoto district to analyze the difference in STAIC scores between men and women aged between 14 and 15 years. To analyze the results, descriptive statistics, Student's T test, and State Anxiety score conversion tables (STAIC Scales) were used. It is concluded that adolescent women have a high level of state anxiety; in addition, on average state anxiety is higher than that of men, which suggests that an approach with gender differentiation should be considered in this group, which is can be classified as an early risk for mental health, with values in the Student's T test of (t = -4.9089) and a p-value of (p-value = 0.000001323).
