Tangential contact modeling of joint interface considering elastic-plastic state based on IWAN model

摘要
A tangential contact model is proposed to describe the tangential response of the joint interface. Firstly, a normal contact model considering elastic-plastic state is established. Secondly, the tangential contact behavior of asperities subjected to normal load is analogously represented through the configuration of parallel Jenkins elements within the IWAN model. A continuous function with well-defined physical significance is formulated to delineate the distribution of critical slip displacements among asperities. Finally, the precision of the tangential model is affirmed through a comparison with previously published experimental data. Through an investigation of the influences of normal load and surface topography parameters on the slip rate at the joint interface, an indepth analysis of the contact state of the joint interface is conducted.
