摘要
This paper proposes a single-monopole antenna operating in the band from 2.2 GHz to 3.9 GHz. The antenna radiator is inserted by a circle and slots into the radiator on the Roger 5880 substrate for obtaining a wideband. As a result, the antenna bandwidth reaches 2 GHz, which is from 2.2 GHz to 3.9 GHz. Besides, the gain and efficiency range from 2.91 dBi to 5.9 dBi, and from 88.4% to 98.6% over the entire bandwidth, respectively. Due to the advantages of antennas, including high gain, high efficiency, and wide bandwidth, the proposed antenna is suitable for RF energy harvesting systems as well as for wireless devices operating bands of WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 802.15.1, ZigBee 802.15.4, 3G, 4G LTE, and a part of 5G applications. The antenna is simulated by CST Studio Suite software.
