摘要
Oleoside-type secoiridoid glycosides, which are abundant and unique in the Oleaceae family, have long been shown to have a wide range of biological activities. As a unique terpenoid, oleoside-type secoiridoid glycosides have been discovered to have numerous pharmacological activities, including antioxidative, antitumor, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anti-obesity, neuroprotective effects, cardiovascular activity, and so on. The goal of this review is to summarize the recent pharmacological effects of oleoside-type secoiridoid glycosides, as well as to introduce the biosynthetic pathways and chemical synthesis methods. This review will serve as a resource for future research into this class of compounds.(c) 2023 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
