摘要
The growing need to alleviate the environmental impact of fossil fuels demands further technical growth in fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles (FCHEVs). Due to the dynamic nature of electrochemical power resources such as fuel cells (FCs) with auxiliary energy storage systems (ESSs), a variety of power management strategies (PMSs) have been widely developed and analysed for optimal power allocation. In this paper, a comprehensive review of various PMSs is systematically investigated for data acquisition and management regarding the search strategy. Within the data collected, the classification and the performance of PMSs are analysed to determine their characteristics and objectives for optimisation process. Additionally, a thorough examination of various PMSs employed in marine industry provides insights into the research trends and challenges associated with FC and battery hybrid systems and particularly ship propulsion systems. Furthermore, a system-level approach to PMS is explored, highlighting the importance of considering the correlation between component sizing and control as well as a health-conscious management that can enhance cost-effectiveness and life cycle of a FC and battery electric ferry applications.
