摘要
Stefano D'Arrigo's novel, Horcynus Orca, is not a simply experiment in literary rethoric not yet another adaptation of the Ulisses travel in a modern key. In this novel there are elements of reflection concerning the meaning of death starting from the attempt to liberate oneself from death in the variety of linguistic engraving. Philosophical theme of the struggle between life and death represents only the superficial level of counterpart contrasts between system/rout-straight, monolingualism/plurilingualism, allegory/symbol. At stake is the life of a literature that disenchants with the immortality of the author and the absoluteness of death. Dying death, of which we can find trace in Apocalypse, means the possibility that a different reality can be in the obscene, that of nothingness, at the anthopods of desire to remain in the focus of the page, of its symbols.
