There is little research about multimedia-display lexical acquisition strategies available, especially regarding documents designed to be used with preschool students. The aim in this article is to identify the strategies available in the digital document which complements the kindergarten English textbook "Calibot 2", the only one of its kind from a Chilean press. In order to do this, a documental analysis study was carried out. The document was studied through the lens of Nation's Four strands proposal (2007) from which categories were raised and applied using Nvivo12 software. Eleven multimedia-displayed lexical acquisition strategies were found in the document, which would support effective L2 lexical acquisition. While the results provide data for pedagogical use by promoting awareness about the L2 lexical acquisition strategies available for multimedia display, the presence of these strategies is limited to the analyzed document. Therefore, its results cannot be generalized.
