摘要
In this article I intend to address the problem of time in contemporary societies from a dialogue between the theoretical constructions of Moishe Postone and Hartmut Rosa, and the work of Michel Foucault. The first two have focused on explaining how temporality has become a type of abstract, impersonal and quasi-objective domination based on concepts such as temporal densification, acceleration or hybridization. Foucault, on the other hand, conceives time under the prism of neoliberal political rationality, by which time becomes a resource that must be managed by subjects in business terms and that ends up configuring a neoliberal ethic of time management. This dialogue exemplifies in a privileged way the tension between coercion or temporal pressure and the strategic administration of time typical of contemporary societies.
