摘要
In power system, an instantaneous change in load results in unexpected frequency and tie line power. Hence, suitable strategy is highly needed to balance these parameters. Motivated by various approaches available in the literature, a novel PID control design approach is proposed to minimize the frequency deviation of two area non-reheated type thermal (NRT) power system. The presented control strategy for designing a PID controller is based on fuzzy logic. Using fuzzy logic, a new adequate control law is constructed. The PID controller's unknown parameters are calculated using an optimization technique by reducing integral time absolute error (ITAE). Additionally, multiple simulation tests were run to check the potency of the suggested design approach to balance required parameters. The obtained findings depicts that the suggested FL-PID controller outperforms well in terms of time response parameters. Furthermore, under several plant parametric alterations, the potential of the presented FL-PID controller has also noticed the load disturbance rejections feature. The presented approach may be explore to stabilize the voltage and power in NRT power system.
