INNOVATIVE IDEAS FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FROM THE SUBJECT METHODOLOGY OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Based on the importance of local development in our country and the leading role of the university as a fundamental entity that contributes with the government to promote the economic and social development of the municipality, the objective of this work is to contribute to local development through the diagnosis of innovative ideas from the subject Methodology of Scientific Research (MIC). The methodology Learning by doing with problem-based learning was used, for which all third -year students of the Computer Science Engineering career were linked, taking the results of Faculty 1 and the Faculty of Educational Technologies (FTE) in this work. Innovative ideas, through scientific studies and reflection, characterized the aca-demic activity of the subject, where students developed their scientific research design, contributing to the development of municipalities from computerization. From this study, 147 computerization proposals with scientific and investigative support were generated for 15 provinces, 73 municipalities and 21 companies and budget sectors.
