摘要
As an emerging field in media studies that advocates for a constructively peaceful approach to reporting any kind of crisis, the adoption of PJ into the coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic can offer a new path for media practitioners who are seeking alternative ways to report global health crisis. This study offers a peace journalism (PJ) approach to covering the Covid-19 pandemic by inspecting media coverage in the first four months of the pandemic. It asks the questions; which news stories about Covid-19 reflect PJ principles in selected English online news outlet? Which PJ ethical principles can be applied to Covid-19 coverage?
