摘要
The quench detection method of a Micro-electrome- chanical Systems (MEMS) piezo-sensor array was investigated for REBCO conductors in liquid nitrogen. Commercially available MEMS sensor of U-Sound piezo-speaker and a customized cryo-amplifier with Vesper piezo-sensor removed ASIC successfully demonstrated quench detections of REBCO single tape and cables. The cable tests were performed with and without liquid nitrogen forced flow.
