摘要
Overview: This article explores the implications of digital transformation on digital supply chains, particularly in a group of automotive companies. We conducted an in-depth case study in a conglomerate of companies that supply auto parts to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) located in southern Brazil. This case was intentionally chosen because of the Randon Company's commitment to innovative practices during the digital transformation process. We identified five dimensions of digital transformation that impact digital supply chain performance: (1) digital governance, (2) smart digital networks, (3) digital empowerment, (4) digital automation, and (5) digital workforce. Demands for greater efficiency, new technologies, market differentiation, innovation, and sustainability drive digital supply chains to strongly interact with these dimensions. We propose a multidimensional framework that highlights the dynamics and interdependence of these digital transformation dimensions and how they can potentially meet digital supply chain demands. We provide managerial implications and ideas for future research.
