摘要
The fusion cross sections, evaporation residue cross sections, fusion barrier distribution and quasielastic distribution are investigated for the synthesis of superheavy elements using 45Sc-induced fusion reactions on actinide targets using ASM and DNS models. The evaporation residue cross sections using 45Sc projectiles are compared with that of experiments. From this detailed investigation, it is found that 45Sc + 251Cf is a potential fusion reaction to synthesize the superheavy element Z = 119. The predicted production cross section is found to be >5 fb at an excitation energy of 44.41 MeV with higher charge and mass asymmetry when compared to other fusion reactions which were planning to synthesize superheavy element Z = 119.
