摘要
Statement of the problem. The process of increasing the intensity of turbulent mixing in the near-wall part of the boundary layer during the movement of a coolant in a modified corrugated channel of a plate heat exchanger is ivestigated. Whilecalculating the heat transfer coefficient, it is essential to take into ac-count the level of velocity pulsations affecting the components of the coolant velocity vector in the near -wall layer. Results. Using the MatlabSimulink software package, graphs of transient processes occurring in a plate heat exchanger with original modified plates were obtained. It has been established that the application of spherical recesses to the areas between the corrugations contributes to the intensification of heat exchange processes. Mathematical modeling has been performed in a countercurrent lamellar apparatus. Conclusions. The results of the study allow us to conclude that spherical turbulators have a considerable positive effect on heat exchange plates with a corrugated surface. This combination contributes to an in-crease in the degree of turbulence of the heat carriers in the two circuits of the plate heat exchanger.
