摘要
In the billing of outpatient emergencies in the emergency department, there is often disagreement between clinical service providers and the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, which is economically responsible, regarding the necessity and scope of laboratory diagnostics. The reason for the divergent view is the different perspective on care in the physician's office compared to the emergency department. Based on the decision of the German Federal Social Court of 13.05.2020, the development of "case and diagnosis groups" is recommended. Against this background, a major complaint-associated list of justified and scientifically proven parameters for laboratory diagnostics for the major complaint "chest pain" is developed and discussed under the aspects of evidence-based medicine.
