摘要
In this letter, a generalized circuit representation for a synchronous machine is presented. This circuit represents voltage and current relationship and can be used for dynamic and harmonic analysis. A distinct feature of the circuit is the use of Laplace transform variable s, which simplifies both calculus and frame conversion. Two derivation approaches are presented. The first approach starts from a steady-state circuit representation, while the second approach starts from the dq-frame dynamic model of a synchronous generator. Both arrive at the same representation.
