摘要：

On June 25, 2023, Joint European Torus (JET), the largest operating tokamak and the only one currently capable of D-T operation, celebrated 40 years since its first plasma pulse. This article will celebrate the long and successful life of JET, highlighting its better-known and some of its less-remembered, contributions to fusion research.
