摘要
Ecuador has experienced significant mass media and communication changes in the last decade and offers a first-hand experience to study media and reform. First, from media captured by the government to media powered by interest groups. Second, due to technological changes from analogic to digital means of communication. Through the lens of media eco-nomics, we present two case studies, one in media co-verage and other on political stability to derive policy implications in the digital age for the benefit of reform and communication.
