摘要
Internet of Things (IoT) is recognised as a key enabling technology in Industry 4.0 for its ability to sense valuable data from physical things. It is also a disruptive driver for management strategies. Prior studies are mainly focused on the technological application and impacts of IoT in industries, neglecting its implications on business models. Considering such issue, based on a systematic literature review and a bibliometric analysis, this study aims to analyse the boundaries of knowledge related to the application of the IoT technology within business models, in order to reflect on and understand its most important intersection points and practical implications. Seven key topics that surround the meeting between IoT and business models emerged from the analysis, which were critically analysed in order to retrieve insights for academics, practitioners, managers.
