摘要
Compulsive sexual behavior disorder (CSBD) is a group of impulse control disorders in the ICD-11. This study aimed to validate the psychometric properties of the CSBD-19 among a nationally representative Japanese sample. A web-based questionnaire was administered to 1,094 participants aged 18 - 59 years. The results showed a five-factor structure, high internal consistency, measurement invariance between men and women, and concurrent validity with variables related to CSBD-19. A latent profile analysis was performed to classify six classes of risk for CSBD. Based on sensitivity and specificity, we formulated thresholds (score of 50.5 points) for identifying individuals at high risk for CSBD in Japan, which revealed that 2.56% of the individuals were at a high risk. CSBD-19 is thus utilized as a self-reported scale to assess the extent of CSB in Japan. Future studies are needed to examine its clinical validity in a clinical setting.
