摘要
Vitamin D receptor (VDR) agonist paricalcitol up-regulates VDR expression in hepatocytes in mice liver. Treatment with paricalcitol improves bile duct-ligated mice liver injury by reducing hepatocyte apoptosis. Up-regulation of VDR-inhibited apoptosis is autophagy-dependent and via the inhibiting reactive oxygen species generation by extracel-lular signal-regulated kinase/p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway.
