摘要
To ensure a sustainable transformation, nations across the globe are actively striving to enhance their natural and economic resources. Consequently, significant factors have emerged, particularly within industrialized countries, such as the effective utilization of natural resources and reduced reliance on them. This study employs Chinese geographic data from 2005 to 2020 to conduct a statistical analysis of the impact of industrial green transition on natural resource dependence. The findings indicate that reliance on natural resources promotes the progress of green transformation in the industry. The favorable effects of natural resource dependency are significantly pronounced in the eastern, central and western regions, with greater prominence in the former. The emergence of such an impact relationship is related to marketization, changes in human resources and economic structure, which are crucial for the green transformation of the industry. These findings offer valuable recommendations for optimizing resource allocation.
