A Note on "A New Ranking Approach for Solving Fully Fuzzy Transportation Problem in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Environment"

Nishad and Abhishekh (J Control Autom Electr Syst 31:900-911, 2020) proposed a method to solve normal trapezoidal/triangular fully intuitionistic fuzzy transportation problems (transportation problems in which each parameter is represented by a normal trapezoidal/triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number). Nishad and Abhishekh claimed that their proposed method is superior to the existing methods in the literature (Antony et al. Int J Comput Algorithm 3:590-605, 2014), Kumar and Hussain (Int J Syst Assur Eng Manag 7:90-101, 2016), Singh and Yadav (Int J Syst Assur Eng Manag 6:259-267, 2015). In this note, it is shown that Nishad and Abhishekh have considered a mathematical incorrect assumption in their proposed method. Therefore, it is inappropriate to use Nishad and Abhishekh's method to solve normal trapezoidal/triangular fully intuitionistic fuzzy transportation problems.
