摘要：

The paper is devoted to the connections of General de Gaulle and Stalin. It is based on both published and unpublished sources of Moscow archives. Some of them are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The central event that served as a pretext for the relationship between the leaders of the two countries was the Second World War. The only personal meeting between de Gaulle and Stalin took place in December of 1944 during the General's historic visit to Moscou. However, long before it, de Gaulle strove to visit the Soviet Union in order to see Stalin and thereby strengthen his own position in the ranks of the Western allies. After the War, de Gaulle and Stalin recalled their meeting and left some interesting testimonies about each other.
