摘要
The paper proposes a combination of time and frequency synchronization with Doppler compensation for coded OFDM-based UWA systems. In addition, we use a soft-decision for M-QAM schemes and Viterbi decoding to enhance the system's performance. A novel pilot arrangement scheme is proposed to mitigate inter-carrier and intersymbol interference. The simulation results show that the system performance obtained by the proposed concept significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art methods.
